ridge's highest peak, guests are surrounded by an
extraordinary 360 degree panorama of Colorado's
highest 14'ers and miles of incomparable vistas.
Just a fifteen minute drive from Leadville's shopping, galleries, Opera House, restaurants and historic charm, High Lake Haven wraps you in serenity and peaceful quietude. Twin Lakes offers fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, dining and hiking during the mild sunny spring, summer and fall months. Leadville's Mt. Massive 18-hole Golf Course, world-class white water rafting, mountain biking and boating are close by. Jeep rental, picnicking and nearby ghost towns await your exploration. A dazzling, dramatic 40-mile drive over Independence Pass into world-famous Aspen is an adventure not to be missed. With winter's crystal snow covering, winter sports abound - downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. World class skiing at Copper Mountain, Vail, Beaver Creek and Breckenridge are a scenic 35 minute to 1 hour drive. Affordable nearby Ski Cooper is perfect for family skiing. Or...just relax above it all in this new, comfortable and beautifully appointed mountain vacation home. Access is easy year-round for your group of 2 to 8. High Lake Haven offers two queen beds, one double bed and a queen size sofa bed, three full baths, two living/family game room areas, a completely appointed kitchen, games, movies, multiple TV channels, washer/dryer, gas grill and three decks. "Vacation ready" includes a full-sized kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided along with paper products, trash bags, tea, coffee and filters. Bring your won laundry detergent and personal toiletries. Three televisions are provided, including a 60-inch projection TV for movie watching. No telephone, but cell service is excellent for most providers. No internet access, so bring your Wi-Fi enabled computer for use in the free internet cafe nearby in Twin Lakes. Elevation: 9700 feet RATES: Three night minimum is preferred but two nights may be available upon approval with a $100 cleaning fee. Two night stays will not be scheduled over two weeks in advance during High Season and Holidays. Owners reserve the right to accept or refuse three night stays during High Season and Holidays.
